Little Bear and Blueberry, a brother and sister duo about 9 months old, are ready for their forever home. Rescued from a cardboard box in the Bronx, these two have shown resilience and sweetness in their journey. Little Bear, the big boy with endearing chunky paws and a tuft of white on his chest, embodies a gentle giant. Despite his dignified appearance, he's a hugger at heart, enjoying leg rubs and tummy scratches. His favorite pastime includes watching birds from the windowsill, but he's shy at first and would thrive in a calmer environment. Blueberry is the bolder half of the pair, eager to explore and interact. Quick to warm up, she loves headbutts and playful moments with her humans. As a curious kitty, she enjoys climbing, so a cat tree or sunny window perch would be ideal for her. This bonded pair is litter box-trained, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and FIV/Felv negative. They get along well with other cats and may adapt to some well-trained dogs. Ideally, they should settle into a quieter home without young children, although older, calm kids could be a good fit.
