About Mia

Mia is a delightful Poodle mix who’s approximately 9 years old and weighs about 13 pounds. Named after the legendary soccer player Mia Hamm, she truly embodies the spirit of being a team player. With her sweet and easygoing personality, Mia quickly makes friends wherever she goes. Whether she’s on a walk with you, curling up for a cozy nap, or enjoying the company of other pets, she brings a touch of joy to every moment. Mia is fantastic with other dogs and cats, and she would thrive in a home with respectful children. She enjoys outdoor adventures but equally relishes the serenity of snuggling on the couch afterwards. While she loves being close, she’s not overly clingy, giving you the perfect balance of companionship. Mia came to us from the Los Banos Animal Shelter as a stray, and it’s hard to believe that such a wonderful dog went unclaimed. She’s ready for her forever home!
