This will mark his fourth transition, and we sincerely hope it will be his last. We are searching for a local foster-to-adopt home—someone who understands that Bowie requires time to acclimate. Ideally, he will settle in nicely, and if all goes well, find a forever home where he is cherished and secure. Currently in Carrollton, Virginia, Bowie’s best chance is to stay local within the Hampton Roads area, ensuring continued support for him and his foster family. Bowie is FIV-positive and needs a patient, experienced cat person. He struggles with change and may hiss, swat, or nip while adapting; this behavior stems from fear, not aggression. Once he feels comfortable, his gentle personality emerges. We're looking for an experienced, compassionate adopter or foster. A quiet home with a sunny spare room for him to decompress is essential. No dogs, please, and we are unsure how he behaves with other cats. Time is of the essence, and we genuinely want to spare Bowie from another last-minute move.
