AvailableTingi is a small, female Maltese/Terrier mix. This sweet girl is house trained and has been spayed and vaccinated. She's currently in Cumming, GA and weighs 6 pounds. Though she is still young, she's already making great strides in her training and socialization.

Meet Mrs. Cashew, affectionately known as Tingi! At just a year old and weighing only 6 pounds, she comes with a challenging background that made her incredibly shy. However, Tingi is making strides every day and learning to trust again. She now follows her foster around, eagerly greeting her with love after every short departure. In her time in foster care, she’s begun to socialize well with other dogs and even gets along with cats. Tingi has shown progress with potty training; she recently celebrated her first successful outing! Of course, there are still moments when she has little accidents inside, which is to be expected as she learns the ropes. She is also working on her crate training, often letting out small whines—sometimes seeking treats, sometimes just wanting company. While Tingi is initially nervous around people, especially children, she’s slowly beginning to come out of her shell. There have been some hurdles, like her reluctance to walk on a leash; she prefers to flop onto the ground at the slightest pull. Despite having a small spat with a neighbor's dog, Tingi generally shows friendliness toward her canine companions. Although her journey is just beginning, each tiny step Tingi takes forward is a significant victory. It's heartwarming to witness her grow more trusting and hopeful. Tingi doesn’t require much outdoor space, especially since she prefers to stay in the yard for now. A small fenced area where she can feel safe would be perfect.
