About Fin
Meet Fin, a lively 7-month-old black Lab mix whose full name, "Fins Up," pays homage to Jimmy Buffett. With a dashing speckled tuxedo stripe on his neck and chest, his shiny black coat is smooth and healthy. Fin embodies the typical Lab spirit: he’s sweet, goofy, and adores his people. He thrives on playtime, enjoying wrestling and running with other dogs. He's also great with kids in his foster home, greeting visitors politely without jumping or nipping, making him an excellent fit for families with young children. His favorite activities include fetch, tug-of-war, and gnawing on bully sticks. When playtime winds down, he loves to cuddle on the couch, often amusing his foster family with his puppy clumsiness. This good boy is already potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash. He’s food motivated, which aids his training, and he knows commands like sit, down, and stand. Although he gets a bit nervous during car rides, he eventually settles down. His foster family is currently working on crate training, and while he enters willingly for treats, he can be vocal about his anxiety. A home where someone can continue to help him feel safe in his crate would be ideal. For now, Fin sleeps quietly through the night on a dog bed in his humans’ room. Fin would make a fantastic addition to any family looking for a puppy without the potty training hassle! Ready to make him a part of your family? What are you waiting for? Apply today!
