About Fatty
Meet Fatty! This charming English Bulldog is a little over three years old and is already neutered and fully vaccinated. He’s a healthy boy ready to find his forever home. Ideally, we want to connect him with a local adopter in the DFW area, but transport can be arranged for out-of-state adoptions. If an adopter isn’t found soon, we also hope to secure a local foster. Fatty does take daily allergy medication, but he takes it like a champ—gobbling up his pills as if they were treats. Like any bulldog, he requires a bit of routine care, such as wiping his nose folds and keeping his ears clean. This lovable goofball is an affectionate companion and a professional couch potato. He loves to follow his favorite people around and is an excellent car ride buddy, though he may attempt to slide onto your lap to gaze out the window. He enjoys snuggling, receiving hugs, sharing movie nights, and sneaking a bit of popcorn when he thinks no one is watching. When he needs to go outside, he waits patiently by the door. Fatty is also fond of his kennel, where he happily retreats for naps. Short walks are perfect for him, and he thrives on dog-friendly restaurant patios, soaking in attention while listening to live music. While he may initially act like a boss with new dogs, he quickly settles down into playful interactions. Fatty has done well during stays with dog sitters and shows good temperament around other pups, although he has not been tested with cats. Fatty is most suited for a home with older children. His playful zoomies can unintentionally knock down younger ones, and he tends to snatch snacks if given the opportunity. He enjoys durable chew toys and heavy-duty bones. While he is house trained, he’s been known to mark occasionally on carpets, making a carpet-free environment or belly wraps ideal.
