About Smores
Meet S'more! This delightful Dachshund is around 1 year old and weighs a petite 12 pounds. While she is nearly completely deaf, which makes her a bit shy in new situations, once she feels secure, S'more shines as a loving companion. With her affectionate nature, she thrives on attention and loves cuddling with her humans. A little patience is all it takes to earn her trust, and she rewards kindness with a heart full of love and one of the most devoted friendships anyone could ask for. S'more adores being around other dogs and would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard and another active dog to help her gain confidence. When she’s not playing with her canine friends, you’ll find S'more eagerly seeking lap time and showering her foster mom with kisses. Although she’s deaf, she has her unique way of communicating, grumbling playfully to invite her friends into the fun and barking at unexpected visitors. She shows curiosity towards the resident cats but has yet to express a desire to chase them. S'more is comfortable in her crate, is fully housebroken, and understands some visual cues thanks to guidance from her foster family. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful companion who loves to cuddle, S'more could be the perfect fit for your home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
