Meet Pumpkin & Stu, a lovable bonded pair looking for their forever home in Shaker Heights, OH. They’ve been exposed to FELV, but neither has a formal diagnosis yet; they will be retested at adoption. Stu is a sweet, shy boy who takes a bit to warm up. Expect him to hide for the first couple of weeks, but once he trusts you, he’ll be a gentle companion who loves to engage with you. His favorite toy is his work toy, and you’ll catch him tapping you on the shoulder when he wants attention. Despite his timid nature, he’s a gentleman with other cats, often deferring to others during play. After some bonding time, he’ll even allow you to pick him up, enjoying a little dance. Now, Pumpkin is a quirky character. Initially thought to be a lap cat, she’s shown her true colors by needing contact only on her terms. This nervous girl may take a month to come out of her shell, but once she trusts you—with enough treats and playtime—she’ll occasionally sit by you or accept scratches behind her ears. Pumpkin is wonderfully independent, content to observe life from a distance, and she brings a lot of humor to her interactions. She’s bonded to Stu and tends to follow his lead, remaining a bit aloof. These two will thrive with someone who respects their space and appreciates their unique quirks. Ready to fall in love?
