About Nina
Meet Nina, or Nini as her foster family affectionately calls her. This 5-year-old, 57-pound mix of Border Collie and Staffordshire Terrier is an adventure buddy, protector, and cuddle enthusiast all in one. Nina was surrendered after nearly four years with a family who no longer had room for her in their lives. She narrowly escaped euthanasia in September 2024 and has since blossomed in her foster home in Texas. Completely house trained and crate trained, Nina is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations, making her ready for her forever home. Her striking black and white coat matches her vibrant personality. Nina thrives on activity; whether it's fetching a ball, playing with her canine siblings, or just enjoying zoomies in the yard, she needs an active family to keep her engaged. A secure, fenced yard is a must, along with people who appreciate outdoor activities like hiking or trips to the dog park. Currently, Nina lives with three canine brothers and frequently goes to doggy daycare, where she has made many friends. Nina forms deep bonds with those she trusts, and once you earn her affection, she will be your loyal companion for life. This girl is ready to bring love and friendship into a new home. Could you be the one to give her the forever family she deserves? Nina is in Baytown, TX but can be transported to approved adopters in the Midwest, Northeast, and Canada. Your support and care can help Nina start her next wonderful chapter. Click apply to start the adoption process.
