Meet Mavis! This 6 or 7-year-old Maltese mix is eager to find a loving family to pamper her. The ultimate lap dog, she thrives when curled up next to her person or snuggled in bed at night. After spending many years on the streets, Mavis is embracing the comforts of her new indoor life. She's extremely affectionate and has a gentle disposition, making her great with kids. Mavis is also friendly with other dogs, though she does exhibit some food resource guarding and prefers to eat alone. Despite missing a few teeth from her time on the streets, Mavis remains spirited and full of love. Although she hasn't been tested with cats, her easygoing nature suggests she would likely adapt well. If you seek a loyal companion who will follow you everywhere and shower you with affection, Mavis is the one!
