About Ava

Ava is a resilient 7-year-old who has faced a tough life before joining us. Previously living outdoors and used for breeding, she’s on a journey to understand that kindness exists and comfort can be part of her life. Her past involved being left outside while chained for long hours, but each day she grows more confident. She's particularly treat-motivated, often sitting like a pro for snacks and eager to pose for pictures—she truly is photogenic. While Ava previously lived with other dogs, she hasn’t been tested with them in our care yet. She's searching for a patient family ready to provide a nurturing environment and allow her to acclimate at her own pace. In return, you'll witness the remarkable transformation of a dog learning to embrace love and security.
