About Shaggy

Meet Shaggy! This charming pup is a mixed breed with a unique appearance, reminiscent of a Dachshund and Poodle, topped off with a Schnauzer's cropped tail. When he arrived, his curly coat was heavily matted, requiring a shave that revealed his delightful dachshund form. Shaggy sports a LONG coat that will need regular grooming to keep it looking fresh. At about 2.5 years old and weighing 15 pounds, he has a lot of love to give. This sweet boy walks nicely on a leash and enjoys his walks, making him a blissful partner on outdoor adventures. He’s also house trained and loves to cuddle in laps. While he can coexist with other dogs, Shaggy prefers to be the only one in the spotlight, particularly at meal times, as he can be possessive about his food. He would thrive best in a home where he can soak up all the attention. Ready to meet him? Click apply to start the adoption process.
