About Chauncey
Meet Chauncey! This charming 6-year-old little guy weighs about 20 pounds and is ready to find a family of his own. Rescued from another shelter, he’s been winning hearts with his lovable personality. Chauncey is a delightful blend of playful and cuddly—he enjoys fun but is just as content to curl up in your lap for some affection. He loves people and never passes up an opportunity for extra pets. Plus, he’s quite smart and already knows "sit" and "down." Chauncey could be a great match for a home with children, but it's best for everyone in the household to meet him before adoption to ensure a perfect fit. He has had mixed feelings about other dogs during his time in the shelter, so we recommend introducing him slowly and setting up a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs before adoption. Having waited since July 23, 2026, Chauncey is eager to find a family that will value his affectionate nature and playful spirit. If you're looking for a companion who's equally happy playing or snuggling, Chauncey is ready to become your new best friend. Chauncey is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccinations, so he’s all set to join a loving home. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let’s get started.
