About Francine

Meet Francine, a devoted lap cat in search of a quiet home where she can shine as someone's one and only. At about 1.5 years old, she is an affectionate and deeply loyal companion. Francine is a bit neurodivergent and has benefited from daily Prozac, which has helped her feel calmer and happier in her surroundings. Although she may react strongly to other animals, she thrives on human companionship and relishes being close to people. Before joining the rescue, Francine lived outside, preferring a solitary existence. A potential past trauma may have prevented her from learning typical cat social skills, making her wary of other felines. Therefore, she needs a home without other cats and does not do well with children. Francine has tested negative for both FeLV and FIV, and thanks to her ongoing medication, she feels safe and secure. She is house trained and ready to open her heart to someone who’s patient and understands her needs. If you're looking for a loyal companion who has done the work to overcome her past, Francine might just be the perfect fit. Click apply to start the adoption process.
