About Mcdermott
McDermott is a small-to-medium-sized mixed breed with a heart full of resilience. This sweet boy was found after being hit by a car, barely able to stand along the road. Thankfully, a Good Samaritan rushed him to the vet and covered his lifesaving care, giving McDermott the chance he so deserves. Currently recovering in a loving foster home, he's getting the rest and care he needs to regain his strength. Every day, he grows a bit stronger and is learning to enjoy life again, especially soaking up the sunshine. Just yesterday, he lay outside contentedly while his foster tended the garden, demonstrating his gentle nature and love for companionship. McDermott is dog friendly and has a playful side, though he must take it slow as he heals. He has also met cats, goats, and chickens, showing a friendly curiosity about them; he particularly adores the resident cat. As a smart and adaptable dog, he listens well and thrives on guidance. Though McDermott isn't ready for adoption yet, he's available for pre-approval applications. When he has fully healed, he will be ready for a forever home to show just how much love he has to give. Every pet deserves a happy ending, and McDermott's story is just beginning!
