About Archie
Archie is a remarkable dog searching for the forever family he has always deserved. His journey is one of resilience and hope. Archie is a lively, affectionate male, around 3 to 4 years old, and weighs approximately 60 to 65 pounds. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter just before he was to be euthanized—a lucky second chance that he is eager to embrace. Earlier in life, Archie was confined to a small backyard, neglected and left alone by a family that didn't provide the care every dog longs for. When they moved, they abandoned him entirely. Thankfully, he was noticed by someone who contacted the shelter, giving him another shot at love and happiness. Despite his past, Archie has retained his sweet and playful spirit. He adores running, playing, and spending time with people. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped, showing no signs of illness despite being heartworm positive. This condition doesn’t hold him back; he’s as active and cheerful as any dog could be. Archie is ready to know what it means to be cherished every day. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with endless love to give, Archie may just be the perfect fit for your family. Come meet Archie and help him find the happy ending he has been waiting for.
