About Rio

Meet Rio! This handsome one-year-old boy has a unique look and an even sweeter heart. Weighing around 45-50 pounds, he's been waiting far too long for a loving family to call his own. Rio arrived at Tails of Hope Animal Rescue & Adoption Center as a tiny puppy, rescued from a high-kill shelter along with his mom and siblings. They were facing euthanasia, but thankfully received a second chance. Now, it's Rio's turn to find the forever home he deserves. This playful pup loves to run and stretch his legs. He enjoys playing with his best friends, a couple of Labrador Retrievers, and is often found having a blast. With most of his life spent in the busy environment of the rescue, he hasn't yet had the chance to shine as an individual. We believe that once he's in a home where he can receive one-on-one attention and love, his wonderful personality will truly blossom. Rio is a neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped boy ready to start his next chapter. He needs a patient, loving family to help him build confidence and discover the world beyond the rescue. If you're looking for a loyal companion with immense potential and a heart full of love, Rio might be the perfect addition to your family. Located in Mount Hermon, LA, at Tails of Hope Animal Rescue & Adoption Center. Adoption Fee: $100. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
