Formerly known as Autumn Glory from the famous Apple Dumplings litter, Sandy Rose is the daughter of the legendary Apple, who once gained attention for having 15 puppies after an emergency C-section. Now nearly six years later, one of those beloved pups needs our community’s help again. At around 80 pounds, Sandy is spayed and up to date on all vaccinations, including being heartworm negative. Her personality shines through as she is described as happy, smart, affectionate, and incredibly friendly. She approaches everyone with a wagging tail and a hopeful smile, and loves belly rubs, toys, and treats. If given a choice, she’d prefer to be right beside you, soaking up the affection. Sandy already knows basic commands like sit and shake, and she’s eager to learn more, especially when treats are involved. Having spent her life with twins who are now 15, she’s great with kids of all ages. While she’s not had much interaction with other dogs, she tends to bark in excitement when she sees them, rather than showing aggression. Sandy has no known history with cats. One of her standout features is her striking partial blue right eye, which draws attention and matches her unique spirit.
