About Loreta
Meet Loreta: A loving companion looking for her forever home! This 5-year-old, 47 lbs sweetheart found herself at the shelter in January 2025. She was microchipped, hinting she had a previous owner, but no one came to claim her. Immediately friendly and full of life, Loreta won over the hearts of volunteers with her affectionate nature and playful zoomies. The Dog Coalition LA team couldn’t resist her charms and she went on foster care in February. Loreta thrives alongside her current foster's three resident dogs, one large and two small. She adores cuddling with them and patiently waits for snacks together. This gal enjoys a diet that includes cucumbers and raspberries, so a family willing to share would be ideal. House-trained and crate-trained, she’s also a fantastic listener who enjoys leisurely strolls showcasing her methodical strut. Loreta would fit well into a multi-dog household or serve as the sole pet in a loving home. She is gentle and affectionate, making her great with children, likely stemming from her experience as a mama. With her perfect combination of low-medium energy and cuddly demeanor, Loreta is ready to charm her new family. Whether lounging in the sun or cozying up on a lap, she’s on the lookout for a home where she can enjoy easy-going activities together. Ready to make Loreta part of your family?
