About Cookie
Cookie is a one-and-a-half-year-old boxer who brings a unique blend of playful spirit and deep affection to those willing to earn her trust. Weighing about 50 pounds, she carries the classic boxer energy—goofy and a bit clumsy, making every day an adventure. Cookie's early life was tough; rescued from a difficult situation, she’s now on the path to healing within a loving foster home. While she’s blossoming, Cookie still needs time to adjust to new people and pets. She may bark or hide when feeling threatened, so a patient, quiet household is ideal. It’s important for her new family to be attentive, introducing new experiences gradually. She has shown curiosity toward other dogs, but she needs a confident canine companion to help her feel safe. Cookie is house trained, crate trained, spayed, and current on all vaccinations. She's great on a leash, though unfamiliar situations can make her nervous. A securely fenced yard will provide her a safe space to explore. Despite her challenges, she promises a wealth of love and joy for those willing to be her guiding light. If you think you can create the calm, secure environment she needs, please fill out an adoption application. Cookie truly deserves a second chance at happiness.
