Star front declawed thought she already had her happily ever after. After being adopted as a kitten, life took a turn when her family became too busy, leading to her return to the shelter. Now, she's adjusting to the reality of shelter life and all that comes with it. This beautiful, big orange lady has plenty of personality. Being declawed means that when she feels overwhelmed, she may use a swat to express her discomfort instead of just walking away. It’s been tough for her, and at the moment, everything can feel overwhelming. Underneath her sass, Star is a cat who deeply craves trust and connection. But she needs the right environment to help her feel safe. Star is seeking a quiet home where she can reclaim her position as the queen of her castle. Ideally, she would prefer to be the only feline, soaking up all the affection and attention she deserves. Having lost her first home, she yearns for a family who can look beyond her tough exterior and provide the forever home she longs for. With time, she will reveal her sweeter side when she finally knows she’s home for good. Star attends Saturday adoption events from 10 AM to 2:30 PM and Sunday events from 12 PM to 3 PM at our Verona Adoption Center, or can be met by appointment for approved adopters. Ready to adopt?
