Meet Howell! This charming seven-year-old gray boy has faced more challenges than many cats should ever endure, yet his spirit remains unbroken. From being on the euthanasia list at a local shelter to thriving in a loving environment, Howell's resilience shines through. When he arrived, both of his eyes suffered from ruptured corneas, leaving them looking quite alarming. Fortunately, with time and care, one of Howell’s eyes recovered remarkably well, regaining full vision and looking normal again. The other eye, while non-functional, causes him no pain, and leaving it intact allows him to navigate his world with ease. Howell is a gentle soul who might seem a bit shy initially, occasionally grumbling when uncertain—it's all bark and no bite. His vet even praised him as an absolute sweetheart during his recent check-up. He enjoys the company of other cats, and having feline friends boosts his confidence. We believe he would flourish in a home with another friendly cat or with patient humans who will give him the time he needs. Food is the fastest way to Howell’s heart; mealtime and treats are his favorite. After a recent dental cleaning and a little pampering, he is feeling energetic and ready to begin the next chapter of his life with a family who will cherish him as much as we do.
