About Maya
Maya is an affectionate and playful girl who adores her stuffed animals, often seen carrying her favorites around the house. This large Siberian Husky is dog friendly, but takes her time to warm up before she engages in playful activities. Though she is house trained, she has a strong dislike for kennels and will do her best to escape. Grooming is a breeze, except for her sensitivity around her tail—just be gentle, and she’ll cooperate. When Maya first arrived in her foster home, she was quite skittish and uneasy, particularly with fast movements. However, thanks to her devoted foster mom, she's learning that she's safe and that these movements aren’t something to fear. It's heartwarming to see how far she has come; Maya is eager to learn and grow.
