About Bernard

Bernard is a charming 3-year-old Pomeranian and Chihuahua mix, weighing in at about 11 pounds. This affectionate little guy is neutered and ready to find his forever home. He’s known to be a low-maintenance option for first-time dog owners, requiring a moderate level of care but offering plenty of companionship in return. He enjoys daily walks and needs a good bit of exercise—around 60 to 90 minutes a day—to keep both his body and mind engaged. Socializing opportunities outside the home are essential for him, along with some fun puzzle toys or trick training to keep things interesting. Bernard is sociable with other dogs, although we’re still learning how he interacts with them. He’s also good with respectful children aged 8 and up, but adult supervision is necessary to ensure safe interactions. While he’s yet to meet any cats, he might do well with them based on his friendly nature. Currently, he is housed in a foster home, and you can apply to adopt by reaching out to Social Tees Animal Rescue Foundation. Expect an easy transition with this lovable pup.
