About Ophelia
Meet Ophelia, or as her friends call her, Mama Ophelia. She was rescued from a porch and shortly after gave birth to five beautiful kittens in her foster home. A devoted mother, she often tucked her little ones away to keep them safe from visitors and even hid herself at the sound of the mailman or gardener. Ophelia has a gentle side; she loved snuggling with her foster mom and relished being brushed on the sofa. Since returning to Seal Beach Animal Care Center, Ophelia has slowly emerged from her shell, enjoying gentle pets from volunteers. Although she gets along with other cats, she might prefer being the only cat, soaking up all the attention. With her sweet demeanor, Ophelia is ready to find a loving home.
