About Boone

Meet Boone! This 5-month-old Treeing Walker Coonhound has a special story. Though he faced a tough start with some medical complications and was born with a unique neurological condition, Boone doesn't let that hold him back. His spirit shines through as he explores the world around him, chasing after scents with a hound's enthusiasm. He loves to entertain himself but also enjoys cozy nighttime snuggles. Boone is friendly and has gotten along well with everyone he's met, including kids and other dogs. Currently, Boone is still working on being house trained and learning to navigate stairs independently, but he is crate trained and finds comfort in his space. His car manners are fantastic, reflecting his adventurous side. Boone’s visual processing might take a little longer, so he'd do best in a home where he isn't hand-fed. He’s looking for a loving family that sees beyond his medical history and is prepared to help him reach his potential. If you're ready to open your heart and home to Boone, he can’t wait to meet you!
