Lips is already spayed, vaccinated, and house trained, which makes her an excellent companion. Currently, she is located in Tampa, FL, and has a gentle spirit as she learns to trust humans. She's ready for the right person to help her thrive.
About Lips
Lips arrived as part of a TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Return) case, but a rodent ulcer altered her journey. Instead of being returned outdoors, she's now in a foster home where she’s healing and learning that humans can be kind. As a young adult, Lips has yet to grasp the joy of being loved. She’s still figuring out the basics: that humans aren’t just to endure, that toys are meant for fun, and that living indoors can be pleasant. There are days she surprises everyone by wanting to interact, purring softly at gentle touches. Other days, she prefers her space, and that’s perfectly fine; her comfort is key. Lips gets along great with other cats, but she’s still learning how to connect with people. Though she’s not ready for adoption just yet, the future owner who wins her trust will gain a special companion who has fought to learn comfort and affection.
