Meet Red, also known as Scout, a resilient 6-year-old Red Tri Mini Australian Shepherd. This boy faced tough times, being found alone in the wilderness before being rescued. After several days of searching during the sweltering heat, caring Good Samaritans spotted him looking for shade. Thanks to their vigilance and a little coaxing from our team and another dog named Pickles, Scout was safely brought in. Scout has a gentle and friendly demeanor, although he is a bit shy after his rough experience. He's gradually warming up in his new environment; you can see his tail wagging more each day. He keeps his kennel clean and gets along great with Pickles, showing no aggression toward other dogs. While his coat was tangled from his time alone, we’ve helped improve it by grooming and shaving some areas to prevent sores. With updated vaccinations, neutering, and a microchip, Scout is now ready for adoption. If you're looking for a companion who has the potential to bring joy into your life, Scout is an excellent choice. Give him a chance to flourish in a loving home; you'll be rewarded with loyalty and affection.
