Ozzie is gentle and devoted, the kind of companion you hope for. Once you earn his trust, he’ll want to be by your side through thick and thin. This two-and-a-half-year-old guy is crate trained, house trained, and brings a serene calmness to any environment. He enjoys playing with toys, going for car rides, and even embraces bath time as part of life’s little joys. While he might be a bit shy at first, he quickly reveals his affectionate nature with a little patience. Ozzie has historically gotten along with other dogs, making it clear that his return to rescue doesn’t reflect his behavior. He would thrive in a home with older, dog-savvy children who can interact with him appropriately. As a Presa Canario, he will do best with experienced owners who appreciate his size and strength. A secure fenced yard is essential for his playtime and exercise; he’s not suited for a tether or invisible fence. Ozzie has a clean bill of health, is neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations including Bordetella, Distemper, and Rabies.
