Previously abandoned, he's found love and happiness in his foster home. Recently, he has joyfully embraced many new experiences, from car rides to playing with balls and exploring kiddy pools. Poe is house trained, with just a couple of minor accidents in his new environment. He sleeps through the night without issues and enjoys outdoor play, living up to the mantra of enjoying life. While he's great with other dogs, Poe can be protective of his food, so separate feeding is recommended. Poe is warming up to children, having recently accepted a treat from a young child. He forms strong bonds with women and may take time to adjust to men and new people, showing some cautiousness. While he enjoys being in the water and is generally good on a leash, he's still a playful puppy at heart, so keeping chewables away from him is key. Notably, Poe does not get along with cats.
