About Sweet Bernice
Meet Sweet Bernice, a charming one-month-old puppy ready to find her forever home in Chantilly, VA. Bernice is part of the Sweet litter, born in our care and raised in a nurturing foster environment. Her mom, Pancake, is a delightful mix of Dachshund and mini Lab, weighing around 30 pounds. While we don’t know much about her dad, we expect Bernice will grow to be a small to medium-sized dog. As a young puppy, Bernice needs an adopter who can be home during the day to support her training and socialization, helping her develop into a happy, confident adult dog. She's had age-appropriate vaccines and is microchipped. Keep in mind that she will need to be spayed at six months of age. Bernice does best in a home with a private fenced yard, as her immune system won't be fully developed for about 16 weeks. Therefore, apartment living or public outings are not recommended until then. Bernice is friendly and well-suited for families. She gets along with cats, dogs, and children. The adoption fee is $400, which includes a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit.
