About River

Meet River! River is a neutered male Siberian Husky, a little over four years old, with a healthy frame. He has a striking blue eye that radiates alertness and intelligence, although he can only see out of that one eye. River exudes sweetness and affection, often cuddling close to his humans. If he feels he needs a bit more affection, he’ll gently paw you to ask for your attention. In his foster home, River has shown that he gets along well with both dogs and cats, playing gently and enjoying the company of fellow pets. He’s even crate trained, settling quietly when needed. However, it’s best if his new home doesn’t have shared walls. His one eye doesn’t hinder his zest for life; he loves to explore and play. Just keep an eye on him—like many huskies, he can be a little adventurous and may try to dash off if given the chance, so secure harnesses and a well-fenced yard are essential. Overall, River is a calmer husky who is eager to be part of a loving family, ready to share his loyalty and affection. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and let's get started.
