Meet Moondancer! Moondancer is an 8-month-old puppy with a sweet heart who's ready for a fresh start. She’s come to us from a challenging situation where her initial owner became overwhelmed with an unwanted litter. Now, it’s her turn to find the loving family she deserves. This nervous girl is still learning that the world isn’t so scary. She enjoys attention, allows full-body handling, and already knows "sit" and "down." Walking on a leash is new and intimidating for her, so a patient adopter who can help build her confidence through positive reinforcement would be ideal. Like many puppies, Moondancer will need further work with potty training and basic manners. Enrolling her in training classes would be great for building confidence, strengthening her bond with you, and continuing to teach her as she grows. Although another confident dog could help her adjust, it's not a necessity. Moondancer needs someone who understands that trust takes time. With patience, consistency, and love, this shy girl can become an incredible companion. Puppies require a long-term commitment, so please consider the time and effort needed to raise a well-adjusted adult dog. Moondancer is current on vaccinations, licensed, and microchipped.
