About Amos
Amos found himself in a tough spot after his microchip wasn't registered, landing him unclaimed in a kill shelter. Luckily, his charming personality caught our eye, and we're proud to help him on his journey to a forever home. This friendly Hound gets along well with everyone. He has excellent house manners and enjoys walking on a leash. If you’re in search of a calm, well-mannered companion, Amos fits the bill perfectly. Currently, Amos is being treated for heartworm. He will need crate rest after receiving his infusion, but he's still adoptable. We prefer that he stays close to our vet in Wheaton during his treatment, but after that, he can enjoy a full activity level. Amos is about 7 years old, weighs 45 lbs, is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $390, and he’s also available for foster-to-adopt in the Chicago area. Start your journey with Amos and give him the loving home he deserves.
