About Gunner
Meet Gunner, an 8-year-old that proves age is just a number! This sweet boy balances wisdom with high energy, especially when squirrels are involved. He's crate trained and claims his 'man cave' as a perfect retreat while being leash trained and enthusiastic about meeting new friends on walks. Gunner knows important commands like “sit” and “go lie down,” although he occasionally pretends he didn’t hear you asking for fewer treats. Fully neutered and vaccinated, he’s a low-maintenance companion, affectionate and playful with everyone he meets, including kids! Ideal for someone who prefers the relaxed pace of a mature dog while still enjoying moments of excitement. Our pets are currently in Houston with local foster families making the transition easier. Please note, all adoption applications take around 10 days and require a few videos of your space since home checks aren’t possible at the moment. If you’re ready to bring home a loving companion, Gunner can’t wait to meet you!
