About Bruno
Bruno is a charming 1-year-old Maltese/Papillon mix, known for his oversized ears and delightful, goofy grin. Weighing in at 14 pounds, this little guy brings a unique vibe to every encounter and is sure to brighten anyone's day. After coming to ROOT Rescue as an owner surrender, he initially felt uncertain in his new surroundings, but with time and the company of foster family dogs, his true affectionate self emerged. Having developed a special bond with his female caregiver, Bruno would thrive in a home that understands his need for patience and stability. He is both dog-friendly and cat-friendly, making him a great fit for families with other pets. Bruno has shown that a canine companion helps him feel secure, but he can also adapt as the only dog in a calm environment where he can take his time to settle in. This little companion enjoys walks, car rides, and being close to his humans. He's crate trained and appreciates having a snug space of his own. While we prefer a quieter home without young children for him, he has all the love to give when comfortable. Initially matted when rescued, Bruno has been professionally groomed and will need regular upkeep as his coat grows back. He is fully vetted, neutered, and ready for a new chapter. If you see Bruno as a potential addition to your family, please don't hesitate to reach out.
