About Irish
Irish is a 2-year-old hound, Labrador, and pittie mix who embodies friendliness and calm. He's incredibly loving, craving close connection with his humans. A true snuggler, he thrives on affection and enjoys relaxing with his family. Irish gets along well with people and is eager to join in the family activities. He also fares well with other dogs, making him an excellent companion for a canine sibling. Walking nicely on a leash and riding well in the car, he’s easy to take on outings. A house-trained and crate-trained dog, Irish responds well to routines. He goes into his crate on command and remains calm when crated, which proves useful during nighttime or when you're away for a while. Though smart and eager to please, he's still working on commands, particularly mastering "down." Irish requires a home without cats or small animals due to his strong prey drive. As a young mix of working and sporting breeds, he thrives with regular exercise, mental stimulation, and ongoing training. He loves to run, engage his mind, and will flourish with proper guidance and positive reinforcement. Irish is loyal and ready to bond with his forever family. With the right mix of activity, structure, and love, he will become an outstanding companion. Click apply to start the adoption process.
