Meet Buddy, a 5-year-old, 10.6 lb Papillon–Chihuahua blend who is ready to steal your heart. With a big personality packed into his small frame, Buddy is the quintessential sidekick. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he settles in, he becomes cheerful, loves to give kisses, and enjoys cozy naps while showcasing his trademark wigglebutt greeting. Buddy finds joy in peaceful moments and the comfort of familiar faces. He prefers quality time over toys, warmly welcoming his special humans with genuine enthusiasm. He’s house-trained when given regular opportunities to go outside and is polite on the leash. Sleepy at night, he enjoys curling up in bed and rides calmly in the car. Basics are covered, and he responds well to gentle guidance, building his confidence along the way. Neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccines, Buddy needs monthly heartworm and flea prevention. His grooming is low maintenance, requiring only regular baths and nail trims. Though he has some anxiety during thunderstorms, a soothing environment helps. Buddy does well with small, gentle dogs but is not suited for homes with cats. While he has no known experience with children, he’d likely thrive best in an adult-only home or one with older kids who can respect his space while he adjusts. He can be left alone for several hours, content in a secure area while his family is out. An apartment, townhome, or condo would work well for him with some daily walks and companionship.
