Ponchico is a sweet little Chihuahua who's had a rough start. At only 3 years old and just 6 pounds, he spent far too long outside in a kennel without basic veterinary care. Despite that, he hasn’t lost his gentle spirit or desire for love. Now, Ponchico is neutered, vaccinated, and safe, though he has tested positive for heartworms. Since he shows no symptoms, he has started slow-kill treatment and will come with 6 months of heartworm prevention. More than anything, he seeks the warmth of companionship. He loves to curl up in laps, snuggle under blankets, and share cozy moments with those he cares about.
