Meet Nala, a sweet and gentle soul who cherishes affection and companionship. This lovely girl was discovered alone in Bruce Lake, exhausted and in need of help. Thankfully, kind-hearted folks rescued her and offered her a warm place to rest while the search for her family took place. Instead of finding her previous home, Nala discovered a nurturing environment where she thrived. In just a few days, she befriended the resident dog and showcased her well-mannered behavior, never having an accident and proving to be a joy to have around. Nala adjusted beautifully but had to say goodbye when her temporary family couldn't keep her. Now in the shelter, she's feeling the weight of her circumstances. Nala longs for a home where she can snuggle beside her people instead of sitting in a kennel. Although she has faced stress in the shelter, she remains sweet and affectionate, ready to pour love into a new family. She's spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. While she has yet to meet cats or children, her gentle nature suggests she would do well with respectful kids.
