Meet Rocket, a sweet little girl looking for her forever home in Wheaton, IL. She’s a Domestic Short Hair with a beautiful gray and white coat. Rocket came to us after her previous owners had to move into a nursing home, leaving her and her cat friend Mama in need of new families. While Rocket is open to finding her own home, she would be thrilled if she could go home with Mama as well. Rocket is friendly with other cats, making her a great companion for a household with feline friends. However, she does not get along with dogs and prefers a quieter environment, ideally with older kids or adults. At first, she might be a bit shy due to her recent transition, but give her a little time and some gentle head scratches, and she’ll warm up quickly. One of Rocket’s standout features is her incredibly soft fur, which she grooms meticulously. She adores cozy spots like sinks, cat beds, and towers, and her favorite pastime is curling up next to her human for a nap or some quality cuddle time.
