About Gonzo
Meet Gonzo, a sweet 5½-year-old Pekingese-Terrier mix tipping the scales at about 6.4 pounds. He arrived as a stray, but has quickly shown his gentle personality, enjoying the company of people and following them around. Gonzo has been treated for a skin infection and has fully recovered, cleared as healthy by our veterinary team. He’s ready for adoption, just looking for a warm, loving home where he can feel secure. Gonzo gets along well with other dogs but can feel overwhelmed if they invade his personal space. He has a timid side, but it’s this easygoing nature that makes him so endearing. While we can't guarantee he is housebroken, he’s eager to learn and adapt. Adopters must be at least 21 years old and within an hour of our facility.
