Meet Zaylee, a resilient 6-year-old survivor in search of a forever home. This medium-sized Briard mix has endured a tough past, having been neglected while trapped in a small crate. Fortunately, her former owners, who had over 65 dogs, are now facing justice. Thankfully, Zaylee found a kind foster dad and a loving home where she is beginning to heal. Though she still carries some fear, with patience and love, Zaylee is learning what it means to be treasured. She enjoys the company of her foster siblings, both dogs and even cats! Zaylee is housebroken and crate trained, but she prefers her meals served separately, as sharing is still a bit stressful for her. This sweet girl walks well on a leash and thrives in a calm environment, ideally a farm or a home with plenty of space. Zaylee is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines, but she requires a dedicated human to help her continue to grow. She needs a fenced yard, as she has a tendency to wander. Patience is key to her success, and she would do well in a home where someone is often around or has another pet for companionship. Zaylee would like an adult-only home due to her history, and her foster dad is committed to finding the right fit for her.
