A kind stranger saw a car stop, drop him on the roadside, and speed off — she scooped him right up and called us. Lucky us! Mattie is already winning hearts with his house-training skills (a first for a small dog in our rescue — seriously, take a bow, Mattie). He just had his neuter which means he's officially ready to start looking for his forever family! This little guy is 6 years old, weighs 8 lbs, and has the personality of a dog twice his size. He's best buddies with other dogs, totally chill with cats, and an absolute people-magnet. Walks on a leash like a pro and considers himself co-pilot on every car ride — windows down, nose out, living his best life. Foster or foster-to-adopt applications are open now.
