About Yoshi
Yoshi is a young terrier mix who made her way from Texas to Colorado, weighing just under 12 pounds. Recently rescued, she tested positive for heartworms, which is a serious condition. She has begun treatment that includes a 30-day antibiotic course, with vet appointments for additional shots over the next couple of months. You won’t need to worry about the financial burden, as her rescue will cover her heartworm treatment until she tests negative. This sweet girl has medium-length, wiry fur that’s black and white. Her large, pointy ears give her a charming Papillon look. Yoshi is a bit timid with new people but warms up quickly, enjoying affection from those she knows. She thrives in social settings, getting along well with other dogs in her foster home. While she loves to explore the outdoors, she prefers to stay close to her humans and doesn't like to be left alone. Yoshi is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, vet-checked, and microchipped. Ideally, she would suit an adult home or a household with a companion dog. She would appreciate having her people at home often, making her a good match for someone who is retired or works from home. Yoshi has been observed to be housetrained, and she sleeps soundly throughout the night. One thing to note is that she may need some time to get comfortable with grooming.
