About Alf

Meet Alf, a playful and goofy guy whoโ€™s looking for his forever home after a brief return to rescue. Originally adopted from the York County SPCA in October 2025, he had a family that loved him dearly. Unfortunately, they faced breed restrictions due to moving, and they had to make the tough choice to bring him back. Alf is an affectionate companion who loves spending time outside, playing fetch, and enjoying the company of his people. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, and paw, and he has experience living with children and cats. Though he can get a bit excited on walks and occasionally pulls on the leash, heโ€™s eager to learn and improve with some guidance. Whether itโ€™s relaxing on the couch or heading out for adventures, Alf is happiest when included in family activities. If youโ€™re seeking a fun-loving best friend with a big heart, Alf is ready to show you why his first family fell for him. Click apply to start the adoption process.
