Jessie came to the sanctuary alongside her brother Woody when they were just seven weeks old. They battled pneumonia, and Jessie weighed only 10 ounces—half her brother's size. Both kittens arrived with matted eyes, struggling to breathe. Thanks to round-the-clock care, medication, and lots of love, they slowly recovered over several weeks. While Jessie's left eye bears a scar from a healed ulcer, it hasn't dulled her fighting spirit. Now a petite young cat at just over two years old, Jessie takes a moment to warm up to new situations but craves affection once she feels secure. She's known for her gentle cuddles and enjoys belly rubs. Jessie gets along well with dogs, often greeting her furry friend with sweet nose rubs.
