About Corn Dog
Corn Dog was surrendered to Shiprock Animal Control with a group of puppies that initially had tick infestations. They arrived weak but were eating. After running parvo tests, which came back negative, we took them to the vet for further checks. Their blood tests revealed low levels likely due to the ticks, but fortunately, the tests for tick disease were negative. We started all the puppies on doxycycline, and within just a couple of days, they perked up significantly, showing increased activity. Now, all the puppies, including Corn Dog, are healthy and ready for their forever homes. Corn Dog is a two-month-old male mixed breed.
