Duchess is a sweet little shar-pei mix who's ready to find her forever home. After months of recovery from skin issues, she's made incredible strides and is now ready for adoption. While she’s feeling much better, she’ll need a family dedicated to managing her sensitive skin for life. Currently thriving on a salmon-based diet and avoiding grass to keep her allergies at bay, Duchess will need long-term care to stay comfortable. Despite her challenges, this playful pup has a big personality. She’s affectionate and hasn't let her past dampen her joy for life. Duchess loves to play, is doing great with crate training, and keeps her space clean. She's learning to walk on a leash and is eager to learn new commands. Plus, she gets along well with other dogs and cats. Duchess has already overcome so much at a young age and is just waiting for someone to see the joyful, resilient little girl she truly is.
