Meet Journey! Journey is about 3 years old and is thought to be a mix of Australian Cattle Dog. Her previous owner surrendered her, hoping she would find a better fit for her adventurous spirit. Initially a bit shy, Journey quickly warmed up to the staff here and has shown her affectionate side. She loves belly rubs and is eager for any adventure you can think of! This isn't a couch potato dog; she's full of energy and ready to join you on walks, jogs, hikes, or even kayaking! At 39 lbs, she's an ideal size for any outing. She's treat-motivated, knows some basic commands, and can even follow commands in Spanish. Journey has lived with small children and did wonderfully. Although she hasn't been around other pets before, she’d do well with time and patience. She's house trained but may have occasional submissive piddles, which often disappear with confidence. While she doesn’t care for thunderstorms or fireworks, most dogs share that sentiment. Car rides? She’s a pro! Journey is spayed, fully vaccinated, and eager to find a fun-loving family.
